Software built around how your business already works.

Off-the-shelf software is great until it isn't. Then you're paying for three subscriptions that each almost fit, with a spreadsheet holding the gaps together.

We build the web apps, internal tools, customer portals and SaaS products that replace that patchwork. Software that follows your process and uses the words your team already uses. Once it's paid for, it's yours.

Custom software

What we build

  • Internal tools and admin panels

The screens your team works in all day to manage orders, jobs, stock, clients or approvals, instead of bending a tool made for someone else.

  • Customer portals and booking

A place where customers can book, pay, upload documents or check on an order without emailing you to ask.

  • SaaS products

Your own subscription software, with accounts, billing, onboarding and an admin side to run it. We run subscription products of our own, so we know the work that starts after launch.

  • Features in an existing product

One complex feature, designed and shipped inside a product you already have, working in your codebase alongside your team or on our own.

  • Mobile apps

iOS and Android apps for your customers or your staff, released on the App Store and Google Play.

Our approach

Start smaller than you think

The most expensive way to build software is all at once. We'd rather ship a focused first version that fixes the part of the job that hurts most, put it in front of the people who'll use it, and grow it from there.

It costs less up front and goes live sooner. And the next round of work is based on how people actually use it, not on a guess made months earlier.

You always know where things stand. A written quote and milestones before work starts, working software early instead of one big reveal at the end, and regular updates in plain language.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

How much does custom software cost?

It depends on how many kinds of users it has, what it connects to, whether it includes AI, and which platforms it runs on. After a free consultation you get a written quote broken into milestones, so you can see what each part costs before anything starts.

Why not just use an off-the-shelf tool?

Sometimes you should. If an existing tool fits how you work, it's usually the cheaper choice and we'll say so. Custom software pays off when your team spends time on workarounds every day, or when the way you work is part of what sets you apart.

Who owns the code?

You do, once the project is fully paid, as set out in our Terms of Service. You can host it where you like and have any developer work on it later.

Can you take over software we already have?

Often, yes. We look at the code first and tell you honestly whether it's worth building on or whether part of it should be replaced.

Other things we do

Tell us what the software needs to do.

A rough description is enough: who will use it, what they need to get done and what you use today. We'll take it from there in a free consultation.
